Wheel Fun Rentals to Host Surrey Races at Richfield’s “Bike to the Market Day”

RICHFIELD, Minn. - Sept. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- This Saturday, September 20^th, Wheel Fun Rentals at Malt-Tees will be one of a few businesses sponsoring Richfield’s "Bike to the Market Day" at Veterans Memorial Park. The event is part of the weekly Richfield Farmers Market, and will take place at the Veterans Memorial Park Picnic Shelter on the corner of 64^th St. East and Portland Ave. South. From 8:00 AM to noon, guests can take part in unique Surrey obstacle course races, free of charge. Wheel Fun Rentals will be providing their iconic four-wheel Surrey cycles that seat the whole family, so make sure everybody comes ready to pedal.

The Richfield Farmers Market takes place at Veterans Memorial Park, every Saturday through the end of October, offering locally grown produce and other products to the Richfield community. The objective of "Bike to the Market Day" is to raise awareness about the various biking opportunities at Veterans Memorial Park, including a variety of bike trails and bike rental options within the park. Bike to the Market Day will include professional bike checks, plus a bike and bike jersey giveaway, in addition to the Surrey obstacle course race.
