Daniel de Bourg Announces New EP X Play Part One Out October 21 On MIH Entertainment, LLC

BURBANK, Calif. - Sept. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- (September 16, 2014 – Burbank, CA) – Singer and songwriter Daniel de Bourg (aka DDB) is pleased to announce his heavily anticipated EP, X Play Part One which is scheduled to be released on October 21st on MIH Entertainment, LLC.

Daniel wrote and recorded the EP while between Los Angeles & New York, puts the rising star at the top of the most soulful voices of our time and on the new R&B artists to watch list. In addition to his debut album last year, “London Bread,” these new songs will only further showcase his classic, soulful, yet unique sound. Daniel worked on the EP over 2013 and 2014 with production from CaseBoogie, Charles Farrar, Luney Tunes, DJ Wayne Williams, and Andre “Mr. Deyo” Deyo.

As a special treat to his fans, Daniel de Bourg will be providing a full album stream one week prior to the EP release date with a yet TBD streaming partner. In conjunction to the full album stream, a debut lyric video and music video will premiere on VEVO for the anticipated single, “Waking Up With You,” next week.

By the time de Bourg was 19, he had not only toured the globe as one of the dance worlds elite with the renowned Rambert Dance Co, but was already making waves in the music industry. Daniel found himself in the studio with producers such as Boi-1da, Tim and Bob, R. Kelly and hit maker Max Martin and his debut single hit #19 on Billboard in the US. It was in these sessions that Daniel honed his skills as a singer, songwriter, and producer and became known for his soulful tone and technical ability.

Daniel returned to his home country of England and after a long audition process of over 300,000 hopefuls, he secured a coveted place in the finals of X Factor. He then went on to pen hits for the UK and European R&B market and gained top 5-chart success with Jamelia and most recently Ironik. DDB has also risen as a YouTube sensation with over 157,000 subscribers and over 23.5 million views on his channel, which only helps his following, #TEAMDDBWORLDWIDE, to vastly grow.
