Drum Magic Orlando is Officially Announced
ORLANDO, Fla. - Sept. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Drum Magic, LLC, based out of the Tampa Bay area expands into Orlando and Orange County with the addition of a second trailer filled with 80 djembe drums. Drum Magic has another trailer filled with 200 drums that travels with Jana Broder, drum circle facilitator and owner of Drum Magic, across Florida and the US as far away as New England.

Broder explains, “Due to the increasing popularity and demand for Drum Magic’s corporate team building drum circles in central Florida, the need to have a second trailer with 80 drums available and a resident facilitator in the Orlando area became a necessity.”

Jason Isla is Drum Magic’s Orlando facilitator. Along with an infectious smile, Jason brings years of teaching and musical performance experience into each Drum Magic drum circle. A musician since childhood, Jason discovered drumming while preparing for extended volunteer work in Southern Africa in 1997. He has been sharing this passion through classes, performances, and community drum groups since he returned in 1998. For 10 years Jason taught social studies and coached multiple sports in Central Florida. In 2007 Jason studied with Kalani (Drum Circle Music, REMO) and soon after met Jana Broder of Drum Magic. He began working with Drum Magic immediately and Jana became his mentor in the creation of his facilitation and drum repair business, Giving World Percussion. In 2014, Jason and Jana joined forces to develop Drum Magic Orlando and the future of Drum Magic USA.

“Jason has been working with me for seven years and I am excited that he is facilitating Drum Magic corporate drum circles in the Orlando area,” states Broder, “His experience and skills make him a powerfully effective facilitator in the corporate setting.”

Drum Magic corporate drum circles are extremely valuable as team building activities. “Drumming an energetic rhythm together as a single unit breaks down a wide range of barriers between individuals. I see this happen every day and the results are simply amazing,” exclaims Broder with a gleam in her eye, “Staff and management interact with smiles and laughter, sometimes for the first time. Participants of the corporate drum circle often get up to dance in the middle of the drum circle while their co-workers continue to drum an exciting beat.” A recent testimonial after a WellDyneRx Annual Team Meeting drum circle states, “Overwhelmingly, the drum circle was the highlight of the week.  And the smiles carried over to the next day when we were all back in the office.  Things seemed to go smoother and spirits were still high.”

Drum circles are also very popular and highly effective as conference openers and ice breaking activities. According to Broder, “During the drum circle, a large group of total strangers get to know each other while enjoying and sharing a bonding experience that will carry through an entire conference and beyond.”

In addition to Drum Magic’s corporate presence, drum circle activities are being held in schools, senior centers, youth centers, prisons, and other venues where participants may enjoy the wide range of valuable benefits of drumming together.
