Trion SuperCars Announces the Executive Team

Executive team now includes Chief Information Officer Shaun Twyman

Orange County, CA (August 6, 2014) — Trion SuperCars, the California based automotive technology company, today announces their executive team that will further punctuate the direction of the company.

Trion SuperCars has extended long-term contracts to these executives with assignments to fill key roles that will allow further development and progress to take place in all areas of the company. The executive team includes Richard Patterson, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Gene Langmesser, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President, and Shaun Twyman, Chief Information Officer (CIO).

“The teams role is to build the Trion brand with the development and production of the Nemesis and our product line,” said Twyman. “Our combined experience in both prototype and production of specialty vehicles will be a huge factor in our success.”

The team collectively has over 30 years of automotive and aerospace experience working on such projects for Chrysler, Tesla, Fisker, n2a Inc., IDEX Solutions, Freightliner Trucks, Sikorsky Aircraft, and Boeing.

“Each of us bring a wealth of knowledge about engineering and design systems,” said Patterson.

Patterson will be the creative force behind the Nemesis. With 25 years of experience in the automotive field. Patterson has worked with forward thinking organizations such as INTIER, creating ideas such as the Chrysler Town & Country Minivan Stow 'n Go Seating and Storage System; EDAG, working in the design studio at Fisker exclusively in the packaging group; and Tesla Motors, working on seating arrangements, kinematics, seat functions, vehicle packaging, and Tesla’s show cars. Patterson is also known for his special skills in the development of wiper systems, mirror systems, Instrument panel, console, seats, door systems, and cargo systems.

Langmesser will focus on the growth of Trion and development and production of the Nemesis. He has extensive years of domestic and international professional experience in the Product Design Engineering industry (Aerospace & Automotive). Langmesser has worked his way up through all the key job classifications in the vehicle project team and has performed these tasks from “art to part” interfacing with prototype through production tool houses. In his career he has set-up design, engineering, rapid prototyping, mock-up and fabrication facilities. Most recently, Langmesser has served as President, C.E.O. and Owner of n2a motors Inc., creating composite concept and show vehicles, including the 7-8-9 and Anteros vehicles. He is also the President, C.O.O. and Partner of Kanter Concepts Inc., an aerospace composite prototypes/tooling/fixtures company; as well as other automotive endeavors.

Twyman will bring a wealth of knowledge about engineering and design systems that were created to bring building a car from the ground up into the 21st century and beyond. Twyman will be responsible for developing the infrastructure, tools, and processes that will be used in the development and production of the Nemesis. Twyman was most recently the President of IDEX Solutions, an engineering services provider that also sold and implemented PLM tools (CAD and data management) for customers in the automotive and aerospace industry. He served in this role for 18 years. Prior to IDEX Solutions, Twyman worked in various engineering departments at Freightliner Trucks, Sikorsky Aircraft, and Boeing.
