Deadline Approaching for IEEE Division V Director-elect Nominees

The IEEE Computer Society is seeking nominees for the position of IEEE Division V Delegate-Director-elect.
 
LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. - Sept. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 15 September 2014 – The IEEE Computer Society is seeking nominees for the position of IEEE Division V Delegate-Director-elect. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, 10 October.

Each year, IEEE Computer Society members elect a director-elect. The IEEE Division V Delegate-Director serves a year as director-elect (2016) and two years as director (2017-2018). View the full position description here (http://www.ieee.org/documents/position_division_delegate_director.pdf).

All potential nominees must complete and submit a nomination form with a biography, a list of IEEE activities, and a position statement. Self-nominations are allowed and encouraged.

The IEEE Computer Society Nominations Committee recommends candidates to the IEEE Computer Society Board of Governors, and the BoG will select the candidate slate at its 17 November 2014 meeting.
