Marbella Artist Living in New York Donates Painting to Elmira City Hall

MARBELLA, Spain - Sept. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- "Mayor Susan Skidmore formally accpets the donation of the painting "Fall Winds" from artist Julian Raven Wednesday at Elmira City Hall.

The piece had been exhibited at an earlier art show in city hall and been on display on the third floor Skidmore sad.

'I love the colors and it is certainly indicative of dying and rebirth' she said.

Raven said 'Beauty has the power to transform and regenerate'

'This was one of my first paintings dealing with the colors of fall, and I thought it appropriate to give it to the city because we are surrounded by these colors.' he said."

Raven, who grew up in Marbella, Spain lives in Elmira New York.  He has recently purchased a large commercial building for his future art projects located in Elmira, New York.

The new property will serve as studio, gallery and art shop.
