Sept. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- QUITO, ECUADOR, – Ecuador’s leading purveyor of extraordinary nature and cultural experiences, Tropic (http://www.destinationecuador.com/), announces that 2014 rates will remain unchanged for 2015 programs at its award-winning Huaorani Ecolodge (http://www.destinationecuador.com/huaorani-ecolodge-ecuador.html) in Ecuador’s Amazon. Guests will also benefit from new shared departures on multi-day Galapagos programs (http://www.destinationecuador.com/galapagos-cruises-ecuador.html), a 24/7 concierge phone connection and exclusive transfers services.

For eco-lodge programs in the Ecuadorian Amazon, the cost begins at $906 per person for an all-inclusive five-day / four-night educational and social experience with an indigenous people, the Huaorani, on their ancestral lands in Yasuni National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The Park, is considered to be one of the most bio-diverse places in the world. Please see http://www.destinationecuador.com/huaorani-ecolodge-ecuador.html

Tropic has also announced that its five and seven day, shared all-inclusive Galapagos multi-sport / multi-island tours will now depart every Sunday with just a minimum of two passengers. The seven-day program begins at $3210 per person, the five-day version starts at $2835 per person, double. Guests are accommodated on Floreana Island at the locally owned Floreana Lava Lodge where they experience an emerging concept called “slow tourism” that offers a relaxed way of life that inhabitants here cherish. This is the smallest of the inhabited islands in the Archipelago, rife with legends of pirates, love and mysterious legends. A trip to Floreana is about meeting the local people, relaxing and, in the process, helping this small community survive intact while protecting this precious area and its unique environment. Guests also visit Isabela and Santa Cruz (7 day only) islands where a highly trained naturalist helps them explore natural habitats where animals and birds know no fear.

Tropic is also spearheading Ecuador’s first lodge-to-lodge trekking and climbing program (http://www.destinationecuador.com/ecuador-trekking.html). An all-inclusive four, five or eight-day expedition explores the highlands of Cotopaxi National Park and a region of the Andes full of snow-clad, mystical peaks, spectacular scenery, plants and animals, waterfalls, forests and great walking trails. Guests lodge and dine in comfortable haciendas and lodges along the way.

Tropic’s founder and director Jascivan Carvalho notes that other guest service enhancements have been introduced for 2015 that include complimentary roundtrip airport transfers, available to Tropic guests booking multi-day vacation programs and air at the same time. Once Tropic’s guests are in Ecuador they may access another new Tropic advantage which offers additional security and peace-of-mind: a 24/7 Concierge Phone Access Service with two dedicated staff members for all Ecuador mainland tours and Galapagos programs.

The company also announced two new programs with the Huaorani launched late in 2014: three-day / two-night Huaorani Research Camping at the enhanced Nenkepare Campsite (http://www.destinationecuador.com/huaorani-adventure-camping.html) and a five-day/four-night Huaorani Wildlife Photography Safari led by the professional biologists, photographers and founders of Tropical Herping (http://www.destinationecuador.com/huaorani-photography-safari.html).
