Fairfield CA ReStore Celebrates 3rd Anniversary September 27, 2014

FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Sept. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Fairfield (September 2014) – Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity’s retail home improvement store ReStore will be celebrating its 3rd Anniversary on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 9 am to 5 pm. The public is invited to enjoy a variety of special events, food options and to shop at special discounts or gift items at checkout.

Planned events include a prize raffle, home improvement workshop, build a home donations, guess the amount game and children’s drawing activities. No purchase is required to enjoy free popcorn and ice cream. Additional food offerings will include low cost hot dog meals.

Beginning at 10 am and continuing until noon, our build site supervisors will be offering a hands-on electrical outlet wiring workshop. Those interested in donating towards a local Habitat Home can donate funds to receive the opportunity to sign a framing stud (2”x4”) for display in ReStore prior to being used in an actual home build here in Fairfield.

A raffle will be held hourly beginning at 11 am and continuing until 4pm, with the final grand prize raffle at 4:30pm. The raffle prizes will include home-related items with a grand prize of 2 Adirondack chairs. Winners need not be present to win but must pick up their prize at the ReStore.

Throughout the day, shoppers will have an opportunity to spin the discount wheel when they check out their purchase. The wheel will include both gift items as well as purchase discounts for as much as 50% off.

“ReStore has achieved 11 consecutive quarters of sales growth,” according to Diane Agnone, Executive Director of the affiliate. “In only its’ third year, ReStore funds approximately 80% of our current operational costs while launching a successful DeConstruction Program to save items from the local landfill for resale at ReStore.” “This is a win-win opportunity for the public to shop for home-improvement items, while at the same time giving back to others in their community”, said Ms. Agnone. “100% of ReStore revenues stay in Solano and Napa Counties and support our home-building and rehab programs for working families, elderly and disabled.”
