Denver Discount Carpet Retailer Sloane’s Carpet Secret Donates Revenues to SafeHouse Denver

DENVER - Sept. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Denver discount carpet (http://www.sloanescarpetsecret.com) purchases at Sloane’s Carpet Secret Saturday, September 20, 2014 and Sunday, September 21, 2014, will benefit SafeHouse Denver, a domestic violence emergency shelter and non-residential counseling and advocacy center.

Sloane’s Carpet Secret is donating five percent of all weekend revenues to the Denver nonprofit. This the second consecutive year the Denver carpet retailer has donated to SafeHouse Denver.

“We believe in SafeHouse’s mission,” said Sloane’s Carpet Secret owner Scott Alban, “and we realize how fortunate Denver is to have such an established, reputable organization committed to helping victims of domestic violence.”

Sloane’s Carpet Secret is open weekends only, Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The discount carpet retailer provides premium brand “Grade A irregulars.” Alban travels the country to personally select the finest carpets with slight irregularities, which can usually be hidden by furniture or cut out of the carpet when it is sized for the room. All Sloane’s carpet is in stock, so customers can see exactly what they are purchasing and no ordering or delivery is involved. Sloane’s also offers carpet pads and installation.

“On average, a customer will spend $2500 at Sloane’s to purchase top quality carpet which will cost well over $4000 anywhere else,” said Alban. “Shopping at Sloane’s Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21, means living well for less while supporting an important cause. If just ten people make an average carpet purchase at Sloane’s this weekend, we’ll be able to give enough to fund 35 counseling sessions for children impacted by domestic violence. Since 2009, Sloane’s has donated over $6,800.00 to SafeHouse Denver through this type of fundraiser. In 2013, they donated $2,250.00 through two initiatives.
