By: SS ST Louis Legacy Foundation Complicit explores the refusal of Cuba, U.S. and Canada to grant safe haven to Jewish refugees on board the SS St Louis. This film's timeless message demonstrates that wherever anti-Semitism has gone unchecked, the persecution of others has been present or not far behind and defeating anti-Semitism must be a cuase not only for Jews, but for all people regardless of faith who value humanity and justice. Discussion with Complicit Directors Ruth Kalish and Robert Krakow will follow each screening. The film is a production of the SS ST Louis Legacy Foundation, a not for profit foundation whose mission is to bring "education through drama" presentations to universities, high schools and communities worldwide.
