National Recognition For Mason District Home Health Services

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Sept. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Mason District Hospital of Havana, IL,is proud to announce that its Home Health Services department has been awarded the Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction by Fazzi Associates, a national benchmarking company. This national award isgiven to only the top 25% of all home health agencies in the U.S.  It recognizes home health service providers for superior performance and patient satisfaction.

I am so fortunate to have this dedicated and compassionate team to work with as we forge ahead into the future of home health care for our community,” explained Lisa Dietsch, RN and newly appointed Director of Home Health Services for Mason District.

The Home Health Services department works with physicians and other hospitals when a patient in our community is discharged, but needs specialized care for recovery and recuperation. Whether patients are disabled, chronically or terminally ill, in need of medical, nursing, social, or therapeutic treatment or assistance with the essential activities of daily living, home health is there to help.

As professionals in post-hospitalization care, Mason District’s Home Health Services works with patients, their families and their team of doctors to help them make the transition from hospital to home easier, safer, and most importantly, aiding in speedier recovery.
