FI Associates appoints Venkatesh Kumar as Chief Country Officer for India

CENTRAL DISTRICT, Hong Kong - Sept. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- FI Associates today announced the appointment of Venkatesh Kumar as Chief Country Officer for India.  He takes over from Mr. Anil Kansara who is retiring from the firm at the end of September 2014. Mr. Kumar will report to Mr. James Goh, who is Chief Financial Officer at FI Associates.

Mr. Kumar's appointment is the ninth new Chief Country Officer appointment in the last 2 years for FI Associates including in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, China, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore as the firm invests further in building its substantial Asia Pacific client base.

Mr. Kumar joins FI Associates from Citi Bank where he was Head of Corporate and Investment Banking for India. He has extensive senior management experience across functions including his role as Citi Bank Senior Credit Officer for India.

Mr. Kumar graduated with a Master’s of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai.  After completing his Master’s, he joined ICICI Bank.
