DALLAS - Sept. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- 12Bar (http://www.12BarApp.com) announces the launch of a Kickstarter campaign (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/12bar/12bar-for-ipad-create-and-share-chord-charts-and-s) to help raise the final funds needed in order to complete development on their iPad app. The software, specially designed for musicians, provides an easy way to create, manage, and share chord charts and set lists whether practicing or performing. Their campaign has been chosen by Kickstarter as a "Staff Pick" and "New and Noteworthy."

The founders of 12Bar, Jonny Mack and Rich Williams, have spent the last two years building and refining the app after discovering the lack of song management solutions currently available in the Apple Store. What has resulted is an elegant and intuitive solution to the age-old eyesore and inconvenience of stacks of paper chord charts or poorly-Sharpied set lists.

Through the use of a dynamic tile interface and convenience of touch screen technology, 12Bar features allow musicians to:

- Easily edit and create chord charts by typing or singing lyrics directly into the app and simply dragging and dropping chord tiles to their proper location in the song.

- Store and organize set lists through a variety of sort options such as title, key, BPM or performance venue location.

- Share charts and lists with bandmates or the 12Bar community through Facebook or email.

- Use performance mode to view the full chart or opt for either a chords-only or text-only display and pick the light or dark theme for the best view when performing.

- Make detailed notes for each chart to communicate any additional information about the song without cluttering the page or confusing band members

- Search 12Bar to find your favorite charts and set lists whether you’re looking for a specific lyric, artist or venue location.

12Bar looks to obtain $12,000 (#12kFor12Bar) through their crowdfunding initiatives and plan to have the iTunes App Store iPad version of the app available by winter of 2014.
