DALLAS - Sept. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Sonia Jackson Myles, Founder of The Sister Accord (http://www.theSisterAccord.com) recently held her fifth "Tea Party" of her Sister Accord Tea Party Tour in Dallas, TX.   “Dallas is known for doing BIG things in a BIG way and they showed up with lots of love and support for The Sister Accord Tea Party Tour!” says Jackson Myles

Jackson Myles has great momentum and strong partnerships from companies such as Hilton Properties and TJ Maxx, helping to bring her dream to life of creating a pipeline of future global leaders who understand the importance and power of positive, collaborative relationships.  In the spirit of leadership development, WilsonHCG, a global RPO provider, donated resume reviews for 5 lucky Tea Party participants, and Jackson Myles shared the news of her new partnership with Always, the global leading feminine care brand!   “For more than 30 years, Always has supported, encouraged and empowered girls to be their best selves,” said Edgar Sandoval, Vice President - Feminine Care, Global Always. “Always is proud to support The Sister Accord in their efforts to help develop female leaders that will shape amazing futures for all women.”

“The Hilton Anatole Family was just outstanding!  They made the day very special for all of us!” says Jackson Myles.  Lynne Duncan, Director, Catering for Hilton Anatole, says “We are happy to partner with Sonia and The Sister Accord’s mission.  Her work is life-changing!”

Sheilah V. Walker, Past Musical Director for The Ft. Worth’s Casa Manana & Conductor for The New York Workshop of “Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess”  & The Broadway National Tour of “The Color Purple,” and News Reporter/Anchor Latoya Silmon from FOX 4 News KDFW brought greetings to the attendees.  Sheilah shared “You must first know who you are and let that determine what you do, so that you can get where you want to go.” Latoya highlighted “I implore you to find a mentor.  Although my mother has always been my biggest cheerleader, I sought mentors to help me.”

American Idol (Top 200) Hollywood Round and Sunday’s Best (Top 13) contestant Shanandolan Ward gave a heartfelt speech on understanding your purpose and following your dreams.   Taylor Carter, actress, singer and dancer, gave a riveting performance as she sang “Summertime” and “I Dreamed A Dream,” and shared her sister story of inspiration.    Jackson Myles continues to hear the same message, from all of her attendees, in every city: “I had no idea what to expect when I was invited to the Tea Party, but I walked away inspired and forever changed as a result of my attendance.”

She adds “It is my intention to share exercises and models that help the young women understand that it all begins with self-love.  Once you get comfortable in your own skin, you will begin to see other females as an extension of yourself and your view of them being “competition or the enemy” begins to be reframed.  It’s a powerful shift that occurs when people (both students and adults) attend my seminars and tea parties.”  I tried something new for Dallas (having an on the ground Sister Accord Ambassador) and Vickie Daniel was just superb in getting the word out to schools and organizations.  It was a huge success!   We are currently scheduling the dates for the remaining cities.  The Seattle date has been set for November 1 at The Hilton’s downtown location.

The Sister Accord Tea Party Tour is currently scheduled to visit the following cities:  Chicago, Los Angeles, Louisville, Miami, Nashville, New York, and Washington DC.
