Hercules Morse takes you to the ‘Edge of Life’ with new release

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. - Sept. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- A Southampton based rock group with such an impressive live show that Turbowolf said they "wished they sounded like” them, Hercules Morse are a four piece hard rock band with a sound that moves between heavy and stoner rock.

Their new release, ‘Edge of Life’, is unleashed next month and continues their penchant for creating hard edged rock tunes that still carry a melodic, infectious punch.

Recorded and mixed by Neil Kennedy (Burn The Fleet, Landscapes, Press to Meco, Don Broco) of Ranch Production house, and mastered by Alan Douches (Brand New, Bowling for Soup, Cannibal Corpse, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Sepultura), this is fresh new rock music which deserves to be found by hardcore rock fans specifically and music fans in general.

Their upcoming video also hints at their inherent sense of humour when it comes to the music, taking a tongue in cheek look at 90s nostalgia –featuring none other than former Fun House presenter Pat Sharp – so keep your eyes peeled for that on October 31th (shortly after ‘Edge of Life’ is out).

The new music represents the start of a new chapter for a band that, in a previous five-piece set-up, received plaudits from Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, as well as national press coverage from the likes of Kerrang Radio, NME, Scuzz TV and BBC 6 Music. This new release deserves to build on that success.

‘Edge of Life’ is released on October 27th.
