Free The Palestinians. End Anti-Semitism!

CLEVELAND - Sept. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- River Smith is running his mouth again on his www.troublemakingpunk.org blog. From telling the story of his Jewish grandmother and the Jew hating Henry Ford to attacking BeBe Netanyahu and the rest of the Israeli war machine, he is rocking the boat.

This piece is based on a shorter article which appeared in The Plain Dealer and on Cleveland.com. It is expanded to focus more on the ongoing reality of virulent anti-Semitism and its consequences. All the while he's arguing for an end to this oppressive sickness, he is pointing out the countless transgressions that successive Israeli governments have made against the Palestinian people.

Dr. Smith points out that in the recent Gaza conflict, Israeli bombs killed civilians at a 20 to 1 ratio to verified combatants--A totally unacceptable rate of civilian casualties by any standards. They bombed schools, hospitals, community centers, and the only power station in Gaza, disrupting the supply of both electricity and clean water. River claims these are war crimes.

He urges the American government to pressure Israel to finally end the illegal occupation of The West Bank, and the inhumane blockade of Gaza, and he demands that all peoples challenge the repugnant anti-Semitism that always seems just below the surface.
