Throughout this play, the audience will feel today’s young Black men struggle in the act of doing right. Inside each character, the audience will realize there is a place where sisters can help brothers become better men while not enabling them to become dependent on their support. One of the key takeaways is the strong Black family is a household of two interdependent people. Egypt has enlightened audiences with his exceptional storytelling in places such as Johannesburg South Africa, Doha Qatar, and a TEDx Talk in Amman, Jordan. Egypt has shared the stage with celebrities John Legend, Alicia Keys and Magic Johnson among others. He has also created the AIDS Awareness Poets Inc. and the AIDS Games to educate young and mature audiences on current social issues. Black Men: Naked Truthwill take place at Mark Squared Studios beginning at 7:00 p.m. The current state of Black America and demonstrating why Black men do what they do while certain people want to kill, harm and deny their rights will be showcased in this one man show. Egypt will uplift, educate, and inform audiences to bridge a gap between conscious ignorance and common sense answers. The sole purpose is to change the climate of Black love, homes and families one stage at a time. Black Men: Naked Truth The one man show Black Men: Naked Truth created by Devin T. Robinson known as Egypt is designed to enlighten and educate audiences on the current state of Black America. Egypt uses Confessional Narration which is a mixture of acting, motivational speaking, poetry, and comedy to inform on current social issues. One man and seven characters illustrate healing truths many brothers want to say but cannot or will not articulate.
