Follow on Google News | Button Up Launches Video ContestInspire people to lower their heating costs, add comfort, and fight climate change in 2 minutes or less.
By: Capstone Community Action When people button up their coats, it keeps the cold air out and the warmth in. The same can be done with our homes and other buildings—making them cozier, saving energy dollars, and fighting climate change. Videos must be two minutes or less and will be judged in three categories: 1) Most humorous; 2) Most likely to spur action; and 3) Most informative. All styles are eligible—documentary, animation, music, drama, etc. Prizes will be awarded to students 8th grade or younger, 9-12th grade, and adults. Individual and collaborative efforts are encouraged including clubs, classrooms, local energy committees, and senior centers. The contest is leading up to this year’s “Button Up Vermont Day of Action” on November 1.
