A Total of Three packagePrinting Excellence Awards are Presented to Monvera Glass Décor

NAPA, Calif. - Sept. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Richmond, CA – September 9,  2014 – Monvera Glass Décor, an industry specialist in printing on bottles (http://www.monvera.com/) has been notified that they are the recipient of a total of three awards in the 28^th Annual packagePrinting Excellance Awards. The winners were announced in the August edition of packagePrinting. Wine, spirits and other packaged products from around the world entered the competition and they were judged on technical achievement and printing quality.

The screen printed label (http://www.monvera.com/wine-labels/), from Ramian Estate, receive a Best in Show recognition, an award that has, in the past, been dominated by paper-labels. To print this label, Monvera used a newly developed Fermac CNC (computer numerical control) printing machine. The label was printed around the shoulder of the burgundy style bottle, using four printing stations to facilitate the wrapping of the labels wings up the bottle. The label was designed to create impact all the way up the bottle shoulder.

"This is a beautiful screen printed bottle (http://www.monvera.com/). Even though it is only a two-color label, the shoulder print is able to create a lot of drama. The Ramian Estate label also took first place in the Labels:Screen category. Second place in the same category was awarded to another Monvera printed bottle – Polit Farms, Organic Roots Olive Oil. This specialty food label is wrapped around two sides of a square shaped bottle. “This is an extremely challenging but rewarding label design,” says Anderson, “ our production team went into overdrive to make this possible”.
