DORAL, Fla. - Sept. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- The 2014 Party in Pink^™ Zumbathon^® charity event will be held for the fourth year at the InterContinental at Doral Miami on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The charity, which was started in 2010 to help in the fight against breast cancer and managed by Susan G. Komen^®, is being held from August 1^st through October 31^st globally and begins its 2014 season with over $4 million in raised funds.

All funds raised during the Party in Pink™ campaign will go to the new Zumba® Global Research Grant for Breast Cancer Prevention. That means 75 percent of ticket fees raised from Party in Pink™ Zumbathon® charity events all over the world go directly toward research to prevent breast cancer. There are absolutely no administration fees from Zumba or Komen. The InterContinental at Doral Miami is taking it to the next level by donating 100 percent of the ticket fees raised during the event at the hotel to 2014 Party in Pink^™ Zumbathon^® charity campaign.

The American Cancer Society estimates more than 232,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014. In Florida, the estimated number of new cases of women affected by breast cancer this year is more than 15,000.
