NEW YORK - Sept. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Attorney Marsha Mozammel, an associate of the law firm Imbesi Christensen, successfully represented an individual charged with making willful misrepresentations to the Department of Labor in order to receive compensation.

The repayment amount initially demanded by the Department of Labor was significantly reduced by the Honorable Justin Dentin, in his award issued after an in-person hearing was conducted.  Judge Dentin’s decision overruled several claims made by the Department of Labor, reducing the amount of repayment.

Judge Dentin determined that the Department of Labor failed to prove that Imbesi Christensen’s client knowingly misrepresented he was not a member of a limited liability company (“LLC”).
