After Many Years, Renown Voice Teacher Opens Up Roster to NYC Professionals.

         Professionals sing Steven Schnurman’s praises as the Master auditions new talent.

New York City, NY September 8, 2014-Steven Schnurman, President of  Schnurman Voice Studios, Julliard graduate and recipient of the prestigious Herbert Weinstock and Arthur Ross awards, announced today that he will be opening his student roster to accept new professional singers in N.Y.C.  Schnurman’s past and present students include well-known Broadway, Pop and Opera singers, many of whom started to sing professionally only after taking voice lessons with Schnurman.

Schnurman’s teaching methods have been universally lauded by industry professionals, because he incorporates his successful physiological techniques and keen ability to find individual solutions to professional singers' vocal problems and needs using his legendary training methods.

         “I am excited to audition and choose a select number of gifted professional singers in a city that is rife with talent.” said Mr. Schnurman.

While most voice teachers teach singers based upon what sounds good to them, Schnurman teaches singing based upon physiology. He understands that hundreds of muscles must work together in unison, and not against one another, in order to create strong, free and beautiful vocal production.

Auditions are now being held at Schnurman Voice Studio’s convenient location, in the heart of the Theater District.

Steven Schnurman has a reputation as a world-class singing teacher and has been successfully teaching vocal technique for the past twenty five years.
