eSchoolView just completed it's first school year teaching a coding course to local middle school students at Reynoldsburg City Schools.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sept. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- With more than $35,000 projected towards the Investing In Our Future program, eSchoolView is dedicated to helping students develop 21st century skills, prepare for the future and define their career path.

From scholarships to internship opportunities, this was the first year it’s team taught a coding class to local middle school students at Reynoldsburg City Schools.

eSchoolView is the creator of an easy-to-use website Content Management System (CMS) developed specifically for schools and educational organizations. Several other affordable software products are offered across one platform to ensure dynamic and powerful web solutions.

Students at Hannah J. Aston Middle School recently wrapped up the 2013-14 school year now having knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Content Management Systems. These topics would have otherwise not been offered in any other courses available.

The course was structured so in the beginning of the year students were first taught about computers. It then worked it’s way through the Internet and finally to coding—focusing on external style sheets, cascading style sheets, page attributes, CSS and JavaScript.

The course’s focal project actually had the class as a whole create their own live website. They were given the opportunity to choose the website’s subject matter and agreed on Black History Month.

Brock Hastie, the eSchoolView employee that taught this course stated, “My primary goal is to help these students understand why these tools are significant in the world and how this knowledge can help them in their future career paths. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to teach this course and look forward to the second time around this coming fall.”

During the final few weeks of the class, Hastie had the students log into eSchooView’s own custom-built Content Management System (CMS) to become familiar with all of it’s features and capabilities.

eSchoolView was also recently recognized by Columbus Business First as a winner of its prestigious annual Corporate Caring Award for their significant contributions to bettering education. The Coding Academy course was one of the major deciding factors that made eSchoolView a winner.

eSchoolView builds custom websites for all K-12 schools with its easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS) & other integrated products.
