Barbara Gilbert Interiors Wins First Place ASID Legacy of Design Award for Traditional Living Area

DALLAS - Sept. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Dallas, TX  --  September, 8 2014 – Barbara Gilbert Interiors of Dallas, Texas has been awarded  “First Place - Traditional Living Area” 2014 by the American Society of Interior Design (ASID), Texas Chapter (http://asidtx.org/). This award was 1 out of 4 Legacy of Design Awards the firm received for 2014.

AISD is the oldest and largest association for interior designers in the United States and Canada with a network of 48 chapters and over 30,000 members. The AISD Texas Chapter is the largest of the 48 chapters. The annual competition recognizes the finest interior design achievements within the Texas Chapter.

The project recognized was a formal living room transformed from inefficient space into a restful room for reading and relaxing with the family. Custom cabinetry created more storage and the already-present bold print chairs added layers of neutrals and pops of color.
