Chapter 2

Chapter 2 The time had now come for the three boys to enter the world of high school, which was Honey Oak High, and to continue their next four years as, Hornets. John was wearing a plain black t-shirt with faded blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Brent thought he should wear a blue t-shirt with black and white stripes to go with his black jeans and black tennis shoes. Jack decided to be the sharp one of the group, wearing a black polo, khaki pants, brown loafers, and his gold necklace. So with books in hand they were ready to take on the start of a whole new phase of life. After the first half-day of classes, it was time to fill their stomachs with lunch. John was at home changing clothes waiting for dinner to be ready. Since, he had a little bit of time to spare he started doing his homework. He sat at his desk doing biology questions as the smell of fried T-bone steaks filled the house. He tried to get it done as quickly as he could, so he could dive in and chow down. John’s father Peter was just leaving the courthouse to go home for the day. He walked toward his white Lexus carrying his attaché case filled with his recent case about an armed robbery suspect.
