The jury in Lafayette Parish awarded the man $1.2 million on August 7, 2014.

The truck had hit several cows in the roadway prior to the accident. The defendant made a top offer of $200,000, which the plaintiff’s legal team turned down.  A Rapides Parish jury awarded the woman a $1,611,000 verdict for her injuries.
