MSG Varsity Kicks Off School Year

BETHPAGE, N.Y. - Sept. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Just in time for back-to-school, MSG Varsity today announced that it will cover more than 400 high school sports games this school year, beginning with more than 125 match-ups in the fall. All games will stream LIVE on MSGVarsity.com and MSG Varsity’s iOS mobile application, and will be available on-demand on Optimum TV Channel 614. Additionally, MSG Varsity once again will deliver original programming and content on its various platforms.

This fall, MSG Varsity plans to LIVE-stream on its broadband and mobile platforms more than 125 high school games, featuring football, boys and girls soccer, field hockey and volleyball, and all content will be available on-demand on Optimum TV Channel 614. These high-definition games will be supplemented with written coverage, photo galleries and in-game highlights on MSGVarsity.com. On all platforms, including the newly redesigned iOS mobile app, viewers will be able to customize MSG Varsity to watch what matters most to them. Fans will be able to search, select and save content specific to their school, sport or region, including custom tiles on the home pages.  Additionally, through Optimum WiFi, Optimum Online customers can access the MSG Varsity web site and mobile app at more than one million hotspots. Access to Optimum WiFi is available to all Optimum Online high-speed internet customers at no extra charge.
