PRLog - Sep. 5, 2014 - DENVER -- Pratt & Whitney Canada needed expert group accommodation help for their 30 person cycling team riding from Hartford, CT to Montreal, Canada and Groople offered their services as a part of the 2014 Groople Gives campaign.
Pratt & Whitney Canada’s team participating in their Pratt to Pratt (P2P) Challenge is riding along a 350 mile course from Hartford, CT to Montreal, Canada to benefit Centraide / The United Way.
Groople has worked with hotels in New Ashford, MA, Ticonderoga, NY, and Burlington, VT to ensure that the P2P riders have great hotel accommodations that also offered nutritional breakfast each morning.
Groople services were offered as a continuation of the #grooplegives campaign which gives back 2% to charitable entities as well as schools and religious organizations for having Groople handle all of their group hotel accommodation needs.
“From my very first conversation with Daniel Opoku, P2P Team Member, and understanding what the ride was about, there was no need to convince us to get involved. We know that finding the right hotel with the right number of rooms and at the right price can be challenging and time consuming. Our dedication to charitable causes told us it was the right thing to do to assist Daniel and the team, so they could concentrate on training and all other aspects of the ride,” stated groople CEO John Butler.
“The willingness to support a charitable cause is much appreciated. Groople was a big help and provided high quality work.” – Daniel G. Opoku, Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp.
