It is high time to utilize technology optimally to bring about a paradigm transformation in the education system. The 12.3% increase in India’s education outlay in the recent union budget is a welcome and positive step. Events like Asian Summit on Education and Skills and One Globe Knowledge Conference act as enablers and catalysts of education reforms by sieving best practices through knowledge sharing and building consensus among several stakeholders."
The Asian Summit on Education & Skills is India's only annual leadership event dedicated to the education & training sector, now broadening its appeal across Asia. ASES 2014 brings together influential leaders, eminent educationists and other key stakeholders to create an unparalleled platform for exchange of dialogues on policy, implementation of future practices and new growth drivers that are revolutionising the education and training sector in India and around the world.
The Summit will also feature a parallel exhibition, World Didac India 2014, showcasing educational supplies, training, technology and didactic material, which will be held at Pragati Maidan on 10-12 September, 2014, in partnership with Worlddidac Association, Didacta International, NCERT and National Institute of Open Schooling.
