RTV100’s offer not only low temperature flexibility, high temperature performance and excellent electrical insulation properties but also excellent wetherability, ozone and chemical resistance, making them the perfect choice for general purpose and electrical applications. RTV106, RTV116 and RTV159 all have iron-oxide fillers; this not only gives them their characteristic red appearance but also allows for the very high temperature capabilities these 3 grades posses. All grades in the family come with high dielectric strength along with good tear and tensile strength – the RTV157 & RTV159 however do take these characteristics to the next level – offering up to 72.1 kg/cm² tensile strength and 17kg/cm tear strength, not to mention up to 825% elongation!
