Touch panel PC as an automation interface

Sept. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- The German distributor acceed offers the 7-inch BSP-1070 touch panel PC specifically for the high precision and reliability requirements in building automation. With its ARM9 CPU, the broad temperature range from 0 to 60 °C in the fanless stainless steel casing and a voltage range from 12 to 40 V, this touch panel PC is predestined for applications in plant construction and in building automation.

The BSP-1070 (www.acceed.com/bsp-1070) touch panel PC has a resistive, sealed TFT display with WVGA resolution. The front is secured in accordance with protective category IP65. The fanless version of the BSP-1070 can be used within the temperature range of 0 to 60 °C. Optionally, a model is available for the extended temperature range from -20 to 75 °C. The monitor is equipped with LED backlighting with a working life of 50,000 hours.

Several serial interfaces (RS232, RS422/485, USB 2.0) are available for monitoring and steering tasks as is an Ethernet connection and an audio output. Optionally, a WLAN interface can be provided. The operating system Linux or Windows CE can also be installed. Numerous tools included in the scope of delivery simplify the integration of building technology or plant technology components for steering tasks.

The casing with Vesa75 connection and the stable front frame are manufactured from solid steel. Alternatively, a stainless steel version is available. The dimensions of the casing are 214 × 158 × 42 mm and it has an installation depth of 90 mm.

Whether for steering and control tasks or as a remote terminal, the BSP-1070 can be installed fast, is ready for use immediately and works problem-free and energy-saving in operation.
