The week kicks off on Monday, October 6, with an Open House at City Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Open House will give residents an opportunity to learn about City departments, and will also launch a city-wide Scavenger Hunt that residents of Fountain Valley can join in all week and be eligible to win prizes at the end of the week. Participants will receive a Scavenger Hunt Passport that they will use throughout the week as they visit businesses taking part in the event. During the week Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will be visiting local businesses in the city to promote the benefits of the Chamber of Commerce. The week will conclude with a Grand Finale and BBQ Extravaganza at Fountain Bowl on Friday, October 10. Prizes from the Scavenger Hunt will be presented at the Grand Finale. “We are looking forward to having the businesses, residents and civic leaders all working and having fun together during this week, and really telling our story of the strength of Fountain Valley through all these activities,” For a current schedule of events or more information visit www.fvchamber.com, or call (714) 962-3822.
