JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Sept. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Watson Realty Corp. is proud to welcome Phil Amato as a sales associate in the Hodges office.

After working for over 20 years as a morning TV anchor on First Coast News, Amato decided it was time for a change. He wanted to find a career where he didn’t have to wake up at 2:30 a.m. every day. Having a normal schedule will give Amato more time to spend with his wife and two children.

“I have built a trust with the viewers and the community. I know the city and the unique neighborhoods in Jacksonville. I look forward to helping people sell and buy homes. What better way to do so than with a company that has been here for almost 50 years,” said Amato. “I plan to treat this career like I did the last by showing up on time, working hard and being professional.”

With over 10 years of experience as a licensed Realtor® and real estate investor in Jacksonville, Amato feels confident assisting other real estate investors and luxury clientele.

“Every home has a story to tell.  I want to use my abilities as a realtor and journalist to market properties in a groundbreaking way,” said Amato, who will use his expertise shooting and editing high-quality video packages to market the homes he is selling.

Amato plans to start his own YouTube channel where he will post tips on home selling and show viewers Jacksonville neighborhoods and their histories through short video clips.  He also plans to post frequent video updates on his Facebook page.
