Savannah, Georgia – September 1, 2014Since the age of 12, Donna Jackson has been singing in churches throughout the United States and Canada. As a young girl, her grandmother would encourage Donna to sing for her local congregation. Before long, it became obvious that Donna possesses a divine gift -- a heavenly voice and the ability to inspire others through music. One cannot help but feel at peace as they listen to the purity of Donna’s voice and the messages contained in her songs.
Although gifted with this wonderful talent, Donna has not led an easy life. She testifies about the trials and tribulations of sickness, abuse, financial difficulties, and divorce. In 2008, Donna underwent surgery that threatened her vocal cords and placed her singing career in peril. However, her faith and courage carried her through this most trying of times. Her testimony is truly inspiring as she shares how God has healed her on several occasions.
Donna feels a true calling to use her talent as a tool to spread the Word of God. One of her original works written in honor of her pastor, “Pastor’s Song”, has been featured on Great American Gospel TV and has been played and sung around the world. In addition, Donna has been a featured musical guest on numerous television programs. Another of Donna’s original songs, “Rescue Me,” has enjoyed airplay on many Christian radio programs throughout the United States and Europe.
Donna has recently completed her fourth album, “Hold On To Your Dreams,” with Crossroads Music in North Carolina. This album features eight original songs as well as renditions of two of her favorite hymns, “When We All Get to Heaven” and “I’ll Fly Away”.
