Matcha Design Takes Home Three Big Wins Over the Summer

Tulsa, OK - August 25, 2014 - Matcha Design recently brought home three big awards from DesignFirms in the Graphic Design category for Tulsa based clients,  The Maison Group and Oklahoma Energy Counsel and Kansas City  based client, Moose Labs. The DesignFirms™ web awards showcase some of the best work on the web from designers and developers from around the world.; elevating the creative vision and development behind the consulting group as some of the finest in the industry.

Maison Group Identity Design
For the identity design we used the French word, “maison”, which translates to “house” in English, and is the perfect fit for this ultra modern consulting firm. The letter “M” is skillfully integrated with the front of a house for multi-dimensional graphical element in the logo. The text is artfully balanced with the tagline “Design. Build. Consult.” which reflects the three pillars of the company.

Oklahoma Energy Counsel Identity Design
For the logo design we used contemporary colors and style is chosen: Cobalt oil drop and ocean blue center mimics a flame - key elements in the oil & gas industry, while the white circle is the "O" of Oklahoma. The grass green swosh from center brings dynamic interest to the overall identity. Oklahoma Energy Legal Counsel is a law firm that specializes in Oil & Gas and Energy related legal matters.

Moose LabsIdentity Design
We took the direct approach in creating the identity by create a custom imagery of the moose head that integrated with digital flare elements. The 3 colors chosen for the brand are high tech, dynamic and hip. Moose Labs is a global software engineering company based in Kansas City. They manage development teams of subject matter experts to deliver successful software solutions.
