A sculptor, painter and writer, Weatherwax was the 2009 winner of the Robert Olen Butler Prize for Fiction and has written for The New York Times. A Boston resident and graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, for years she has sculpted superheroes and cartoon characters for Nickelodeon, Pixar, DC Comics and others. Her critically acclaimed debut novel, All We Had, heralds the arrival of a powerful new voice in fiction. Entertainment Weekly and The New York Post recently announced that the book has been optioned by actress Katie Holmes and it was selected as an Oprah Editor’s Pick for best Labor Day read.
