Imbesi Christensen wins appeal on behalf of attorney terminated from the law firm Yolande Nicholson

NEW YORK - Sept. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Attorney Marsha Mozammel, an associate of the law firm Imbesi Christensen, successfully represented a former attorney employed by the law firm Yolande Nicholson PC ("Yolande Nicholson").  Yolande Nicholson appealed a decision issued in favor of the firm's client.

The Honorable James S. Alesi, on behalf of the Appeal Board, issued a decision in favor of the firm's client thst sustained the determination rendered after an in-person hearing was conducted.  The Appeal Board's decision represented that Imbesi Christensen's client, and all others similarly situated, were not independent contractors.

Specifically, the decision set forth the following:

DECISION: The appeal is dismissed.  The employer's objection is overruled.

The Appeal Board determined that Ms. Mozammel successfully proved that the employer's appeal should be denied.
