Power Design Inc. Partners on High Profile South Florida Development

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Sept. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Power Design Inc., a national electrical contractor and engineer, has been awarded South Florida’s latest high profile development, The Surf Club. Partnering with Coastal Construction, this design assist job will transform the historic 1920’s landmark into a new mixed-use development.

The Surf Club, originally designed by Russell Pancoast, was a luxurious paradise hideout for the elite crowd of celebrities, politicians, and models. Today, Surf Club’s original Mediterranean-style structure is being restored, along with two new 12-story residential condominium towers and a 12-story hotel tower, adding to the Atlantic oceanfront property.

Power Design aims to provide innovative services, as the Surf Club amenity package potentially includes high-end security and access control technologies, supported by a remarkable infrastructure and complex backbone. “We look forward to using our expertise on this visionary new development,” said Power Design Project Executive, Jason Dinger. “Our intent is to execute a highly successful project while maintaining Surf Club’s historic integrity.”
