By: Project 150 Project 150 will host a boutique style shopping day for Las Vegas High School Students at the East Las Vegas Community Center. High school students are invited to shop for fashionable new and gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, school supplies and much more! Students can shop for FREE when they present their student ID. FREE haircuts from SportClips on a first come, first serve basis. Event sponsors include: City of Las Vegas Councilman Bob Coffin, The Home Depot, #3308, and SportClips Meli Pulido, Project 150 is thrilled to present one of the largest FREE Teen Shopping Days yet. This is one of the most popular events for community engagement resulting in thousands of donated items and over 100 Volunteer Personal Shopper Assistants onsite to assist high school students shop in a boutique & fun setting. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and community donors, we have a generous supply of formal & casual wear, shoes, undergarments, hygiene products, and so much more. WHEN: Saturday, September 6, 2014, 2014 10am-2pm WHERE: East Las Vegas Community Center 250 N. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89101 SPECIAL APPEARANCES: Kayli Barker, the youngest woman to win a NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature race on August 2013, will be onsite for photos with students. Kayli is also Project 150‘s teen spokesperson who serves selflessly as a volunteer and holds Secretary Officer position with the Project 150 Youth Council. Samuel Coleman Jr., professional basketball player is volunteering as a Personal Shopping Assistant. Sam has played in Japan,China, Africa, Mexico, And Ecuador. Also, Sam has played in the NBA Developmental League.
