There are seven categories for the 2015 Arab Health Awards. These include Excellence in Radiology, Excellence in Surgery, Patient Centered Care, Young Surgeon of the Year, Cleveland Clinic Young Clinician of the Year, Outstanding Contribution of an Individual to the Middle East Healthcare Industry, and Roche Excellence in Laboratory.
Last year’s award winners were from the UAE, Qatar, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“The Arab Health Awards identify the remarkable achievements of individuals, departments, teams or organisations that have contributed to the progress and advancement of the Middle East healthcare industry. With the awards increasing in popularity – last year we had 150 nominations – we look forward to once again celebrating the progress made in this industry,” highlighted Simon Page, Managing Director, Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions.
“The Arab Health Awards aim to recognize the accomplishments of healthcare professionals who help create consistently reliable and credible medical services for all patients. The growth in the Middle East healthcare market was mirrored in the increasing number of high-quality submissions for the 2014 Arab Health Awards. The maturing yet dynamic industry clearly brings out many best practices as reflected by the award winners,” said Jan Schmitz-Huebsch, Director for Business Development & Projects at Munich Health Daman Holding (MHDH) MENA, and former Principal at Booz & Co Dubai.
The Arab Health Awards 2015 are free to enter and open to any company or individual working in or with substantial responsibilities in the healthcare industry in the Middle East region. Health professionals may nominate their own or other hospitals, departments, teams or an organisation that deserves recognition. The winners will be announced during the Arab Health Exhibition & Congress from 26-29 January 2015 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
