Home Health Foundation hosts visit by City of Lawrence Mayor Daniel Rivera

LAWRENCE, Mass. - Sept. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Lawrence, MA –The agencies of Home Health Foundation: Home Health VNA, Merrimack Valley Hospice and HomeCare, Inc. were a stop along the community visits of Lawrence Mayor Daniel Rivera at the end of August.  Joined by representatives from Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, the agencies presented the many home health and supportive services both organizations provide in the city of Lawrence.   John Albert, President and CEO of Home Health Foundation and Rosanne DiStefano, Executive Director of Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley discussed the many ways their agencies support the community and their long-standing commitment to its residents.

“We were grateful for the opportunity to share with the Mayor the vital work we do as a community-based, not-for-profit organization that serves so many in the city and beyond,” said Albert.  “It was a pleasure to meet Mayor Rivera and learn about the initiatives he has planned to move the City of Lawrence forward.”

“The Mayor was attentive and sincerely interested in learning about the many ways we work together and with other health and social service agencies in the city,” said DiStefano.  “He is also committed to resolving some of the health and safety issues that affect those we care for as well as our staff.”
