The Independent Music Industry Network Project

HOUSTON - Sept. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- The Independent Music Industry Network Project will include Club Events, Club Flyer Promotions, Music Industry Seminars, Digital Music Distribution and Listening Parties. The Independent Music Industry Network Project is not an official organization, but it does consist of Music Publishers, Music Distributors, Independent Artists, and Independent Labels that are dedicated to making the Music Business a business again. This group of Independent Music Business Owners has formed an alliance to network together to work toward obtaining steady revenue from working in the Music Industry.

There are currently 7 Independent Labels and 1 Music Publisher actively networking together are: Yvonne Wilcox Pen Name – Publisher with ASCAP Membership, Mildred Davis Independent Label – Distributor with INgrooves and Sub-Label of Infinite WorldWide LLC, BankFam Dynasty Entertainment – Label with Distribution via INgrooves, No Hype No Glory (NHNG) – Label with Distribution via INgrooves, 2 DA Max Records LLC – Label, N DA Brickz Records – Label, Underground Railroad Entertainment Group – Label with Distribution via INgrooves, and Faculty Muzik Group – Label that is presenting Executive Order Clothing.

The Independent Music Industry Network Project has just begun and the first project as a team effort will be to promote and market Independent Music directly to local clubs not only to generate sales but to also generate a real fan base that will be willing to listen and leave written comments online regarding the music. The second project that is scheduled to begin in October 2014 will be Music Industry Seminars that will be designed to educate and also serve as a resource for new Music Industry Business Owners. The Music Industry Seminars will be open to the public and will also give Artists a chance to perform and Labels a chance to see how their Artists will perform before live audiences. Listening Parties will be conducted via the Indaba Music Website but there will be no formal scheduling for these types of events they will be planned as new music releases become available on iTunes and Amazon.
