Deep Well Services' Partnerships to Bring More Business to PA

By: Deep Well Services

Sept. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- ZELIENOPLE ─ In the first in a series of strategic partnerships, Butler County's Deep Well Services (DWS) is bringing in Broussard, La.-based Wellsite Rental Services, which plans to open an office site in Zelienople  in October and serve the Marcellus and Utica region alongside DWS.

The move allows DWS to offer its customers more comprehensive services ─ and brings another boost to the local economy, DWS President and CEO Mark Marmo says.

"They have an extreme amount of experience in the industry, outside of the Marcellus and Utica plays," he says. "They have seen the growth happen elsewhere and are bringing their experience to our area and our customers."

The company will lease office space from DWS and will rent a 30,000 square-foot shop in the same building complex. In addition to corporate offices in Louisiana, Wellsite Rental Services has set up mid-continent operations in Tulsa, Okla., and Texas operations in Victoria, Texas.

Founders have many years of oilfield experience and the company provides new and innovative rental products with a customer service mindset, Wellsite Rental Services President Mark Johnson says.

“We believe the partnership between Wellsite Rental Services and Deep Well Services will provide synergies that will benefit operators in the Utica and Marcellus markets,” he says.

Part of Wellsite Rental Services' philosophy is to hire locally within the region where they are setting up operations, which means more jobs and more spending in Butler County, Chairman Kirby Arceneaux says.

“We are very excited and pleased to be partnering with Deep Well Services, a premier supplier of snubbing and workover units,” he says.

Aside from purchasing supplies, vehicles and other investments associated with the new office, the company plans to hire two mid-level managers to start and several shop jobs down the road.

Marmo says he anticipates another four to five strategic partnership announcements in the near future.

"These will show our customers that we are not going to just fill an order for them," he says. "We are there to add value."

DWS is the only snubbing company headquartered in Pennsylvania, and the majority of its employees are Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia residents. The company furnishes service rigs and rig assist/standalone snubbing units and has a roustabout line of business in the Appalachia region. More information is available at deepwellservices.com.
