Ardmore-based author celebrates cancer patients with new book

ARDMORE, Pa. - Sept. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Nahjee Grant, local children’s book author has published his fourth book “Believe in Yourself: A Mirror of Hope" September 1st as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. He is planning to donate a portion of the proceeds to cancer related charities focused on finding a cure. The book, targeting children with cancer, aims to teach the importance of children pursuing their passion, never giving up despite internal pains beyond their control and using their imagination to change the world. "The book is dedicated to Stephanie Carter of Ardmore, who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in July. Carter was not only family but a titan in our small community and taught me a lot about leadership. The main character is a child version of herself so it truly is a dedication to her", Grant adds.
