New Wave Evolves To Couture in New York

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Sept. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- New York Fashion Week comes to Staten Island as some of it's revolutionary local designer talent, Texas Designers, and international guests showcase their work in New York City.  Models will arrive wearing New Wave inspired hair and make-up and designs from different local and international designers including Arefeh Mansouri (Montreal), Paul Redmond (Las Vegas), Loren Franco (Dallas, TX), Benson Roberts (Austin, TX), and TeKay Designs by Kimma Wreh (Houston, TX).

The New Wave exhibit is free from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET on September 3, 2014 at Staten Island Ferry St. George Terminal. The Press Reception starts at 6:00 PM ET with a paid event in the evening. The theme is New Wave's underground culture from the 80's through its continuing influence today.

Produced and directed by Victor Quinteros, a member of the SI Maker Space and Fashion Group international (FGI), the "New Wave evolves to Couture" fashion exhibition features Style by: So Angeline, Hair and Make Up: Jarad Reed, Promotions Partner: FU2RO INC. by Jay Brooklyn, Music by: Master Richard Floor, and Catering by: Tapas bar and Restaurant.
