DELHI, India - Sept. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- EMTECH FOUNDATION is strongly committed to encourage the students in embedded field. The students trained from this organization have performed incredible in the technical fest happening in various colleges and also in many other technical events.

One of the students named Gurmeet Singh studying at NIT Kurukshetra was trained at EMTECH FOUNDATION in industrial summer training-2013 who performed brilliantly at various platforms. The recent achievement was at IIT Bombay 2014 where he participated in the tech-fest event named “Apexo Finale.” The tech-fest event at IIT Bombay is the Asia’s largest science & technology festival organized by the student community. The tech-fest organized at IIT Bombay hosted about 200 teams coming from different colleges around the country. The tech-fest event was based on high level embedded system project and required intense knowledge about hardware design, embedded programming and peripheral devices. For this event, Gurmeet Singh, made a “Wireless Land Rover with Robotic Arm.” The project was designed to perform two functions; firstly the robotic arm picks the colored ball from one location and then places it to another. The robotic car was used to carry the robotic arm and all of these functions were controlled by RF module. Gurmeet Singh made it to the finals where he had a very close encounter.

Following this event, he participated in another national level tech-fest event named “Roborynth” during Micrologic 2014 at NIT Kurukshetra where about 25 teams participated from various colleges and he was the winner of that event.

The other achievement was in “Texas Instruments Analog Design Challenge 2013” where EMTECH student named Tushar Tyagi, student of NSIT, Delhi and took his industrial summer training-2011 performed remarkable. The competition allows students to design the products using at least three TI analog ICs, or two analog ICs and a TI embedded processor. The two-tiered design contest starts at the college level across the country. The winner at the national level gets a prize of Rs. 5.38 lakh and a trophy. For this event, Tushar Tyagi made the embedded system project “Microcontroller Based Automatic Power Factor Monitoring and Control System” and was the winner of that event.

Following this, next year one another student again from EMTECH FOUNDATION named Pranjal Saxena got shortlisted in the “Texas Instruments Analog Design Challenge 2014.” He completed the prototype for phase 1. He also participated in the “IEEE MSIT Technical Project Exhibition” and got the 2nd prize. For this event he made an “IR Remote Controlled Relay switching to control the electrical appliances.” He was one of the star performers for the EMTECH FOUNDATION industrial summer training STEP-2012.

One more recent achievement was at the Elecrama Exhibition. Elecrama is the world’s largest confluence of the power transmission and distribution community.

Elecrama hosts the event named “Engineer Infinite” after every two years and in that event different teams from different institutions participate from all over the country. EMTECH students have been actively participating for the last three competition at Elecrama event (2008, 2010 & 2012). In the event Elecrama Exhibition- Engineer Infinite 2014, four teams from EMTECH got selected for the 1st Round and one team from MSIT, Delhi college Shifin and Krishan, student of industrial summer training STEP-2013 made it to the finals.

Every year at the state level college competitions, EMTECH students have always been prize winner in different institutions like NIT Kurukshetra, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, DCE & NSIT. Not only this, EMTECH FOUNDATION students have participated on various platforms, showed their talent & skill and have excelled.

EMTECH FOUNDATION always feels proud on their success and committed to bring more success in electronics engineers.
