Unregistered European Union (EU) Refugees Cause for Concern.
The influx of refugees from various EU countries are a concern to the general public as well as to Law Enforcement.

There are instances of harassment of the ordinary public by the refugees stealing to satisfy their hunger. Violence due to hunger, some refugees have turned to Shoplifting and theft, have caused for Police actions.

To contain the situation  the society has three options-;
1. Call the Police and apply legal solution - (Costs taxpayer )
2: Deport them - (Creates Politically Incorrect negative publicity)
3: Offer them food to give some comfort.

The Third Option, whilst offering a humanitarian approach, also alleviates public costs and political embarrassment.

Poverty is Not Restricted to Refugees.
Whilst many EU countries have a considerable number of poverty stricken citizens, there are the “forgotten poor” in Finland, considered as a richer EU member.

The 80:20 Rule

This is aptly made public in the Free-Food-Donation Center at Helsinginkatu 19, in the City of Helsinki, where 3000-4000 persons, 99% Finnish citizens stand-in-line for hours to obtain a loaf of bread & a few banana, every Wednesday & Friday.

Even the Best is Not Good Enough.
Whilst the Government of Finland offers one of the best Social Services in the world, from Infancy to Old Age, the rising costs of food, oil and other services have placed a tremendous strain on the Budgets.

Global Conflicts Cause Economic Pressure in EU.
The various global conflicts in the Middle East, with the terrorism causing the inflation of price of oil, have placed a strain on the consumer, charities as well as Government services.

Added to recurring conflicts in the Middle East, is the Russian-Ukrainian debacle, which prompted joint actions by the United Nations, USA, EU and NATO to impose sanctions on Russia. Reciprocating the sanctions, the Government of Russia, placed a ban on all food & commodities from USA & EU. This retaliations have applied enormous pressure on exports from EU thus creating loss of revenue and curtailing on employment.
