Follow on Google News | Taste of Bonita Seeks Restaurants for 21st AnnualBy: Rotary Noon Club Of Bonita Springs Open to all restaurants in Southwest Florida, the entry fee is $350 and 50% of the first $3000 in sales go to the Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon to support charities throughout the community. 10% of sales over $3000 are returned to the Rotary club. “Taste of Bonita is one of our favorite annual events,” exclaimed Campbell Gault from Fitzgerald’s restaurant, who has participated in Taste of Bonita for the past 10 years. “Every year we get to introduce ourselves to new friends and customers, contribute to our community, and have a lot of fun!” In addition to the Taste of Bonita on Sunday, the weekend event includes an amateur Chili and BBQ Cook-off, and Craft Fair on Saturday afternoon, followed by a free concert featuring the Caribbean Chillers, a Jimmy Buffet tribute Band Saturday evening. Amateur cooks and craft vendors for Saturday are also being sought. Interested restaurants and chili/BBQ participants for Saturday can download applications at www.tasteofbonita.com. The Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon was chartered in 1992 and is made up of business professionals who come together to serve the community and promote their vocations. Over 34,000 Rotary Clubs can be found in over 200 countries and geographical areas worldwide. To date the Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon has donated over $200,000 to charities.
