Albuquerque RV Dealer Starts ALS Ice Bucket Chain Reaction

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Aug. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Rocky Mountain RV & Marine (http://www.rmrv.com) has always believed in giving back to the community, so they started an Albuquerque RV Dealership chain reaction by challenging Myers RV Center to participate in the ALS “Ice Bucket Challenge” (http://www.alsa.org/fight-als/ice-bucket-challenge.html) and get donations rolling in.

10 members of the Rocky Mountain RV & Marine team were soaked in ice water (http://youtu.be/t89dKyUbwsQ) with the help of 2 forklifts and team members looking for some payback. "It was cool!" said Bob Scholl, assistant General Manager of the dealership.  "Actually, it was freezing but worth it for a good cause!"



The Meyers RV Center team accepted the challenge and got soaked as well. Prior to the ice water bath, John Myers challenged Chisholm Trail RV to take up the cause as well.

The ALS “Ice Bucket Challenge” has been invaluable in raising visibility of this disease and funds for research.  As of August 27^th the ALS Association has received $94.3 million in donations compared to $2.7 million during the same time period last year (July 29 to August 27).
