Rotary Dist3190 takes steps to increase free Pediatric Cardiac Surgeries for economically weak child

BANGALORE, India - Aug. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Rotary International Dist 3190 is organizing a fundraiser to promote healthy living for children from economically weaker section by offering Free Pediatric Cardiac surgeries. To meet the needs, RID 3190 are organizing a musical tribute - "Maestros" - an evening of golden melodies taking us on a trip back in time when melody was king and music sublime with songs of famed music directors Madan Mohan and Roshan. The event ‘A Connoisseur's Delight’ is an endeavor to reach out to the beneficiaries and other supporters. This will be an evening to remember and will be held at the Good Shepherd Auditorium on Sunday evening, August 31, 2014. We hope to have a full house of 1200 discerning music lovers and Rotarians, leaders from various walks of life, who have pledged to do their best for society & save lives of needy children.

Mr. Sanjeev Kohli, son of Late Madan Mohan, will be the guest of honour and   Super Orchestra by ‘Musicolor’ Mumbai will support the unforgettable Musical fete of Retro –‘MAESTROS’ by the famous and talented Bollywood singers.

The funds raised will be utilised to help the needy poor patients, who are not in a position to afford even the subsidized / bare minimum cost of surgery offered by the Cardiac Hospitals. Rotary District 3190 with support of Needy Heart Foundation has been working for the sole purpose of reaching out to the poor and weaker sections of society, irrespective of nationality, religion, color, cast or creed.

Pediatric Cardiac surgeries for children is an ongoing program for RI District 3190 and thousands have benefited from this scheme where the expensive procedure is done free for the child by Rotary in partnership with several leading hospitals in Bangalore. Every year RI Dist.3190 undertakes over 400 free pediatric surgeries.
